A comprehensive five-day beginner programme covering data, decisions, collections, functions, errors, algorithms and complete program design.
Learn programming from first principles without assuming any previous coding experience. This five-day candidate course uses plain English, relatable analogies, worked examples, guided exercises and two complete design projects. You will learn how data flows through a program, how functions transform it, and why functional programming keeps variables immutable and side effects at the edges. The learning path follows the supplied Candidate Edition handbook. Each day contains concept lessons, guided practice, a knowledge check and independent work. By the end, you will be able to design a complete program from input through processing to output, explain your decisions, anticipate common errors and test the result. Recommended pace: five intensive learning days plus orientation and final assessment—approximately 38 hours in total. Self-paced learners may complete one module per week.
